The rooms

One big room where the band can see each other

Love Electric is a tracking studio. The live room and its attached iso booth come to nearly 800 sq ft of treated hardwood, with a bright, open live end and a tight, dry dead end for drums. The booth gives you separation when you want it, so a full band can track together and still redo a vocal later.

The control room is 500 sq ft, with daylight, soffit-mounted JBL 4435s and a clear view of the floor. Every booking gets both rooms.

The piano

A Bösendorfer with a past

It came from Mayfair Studios, where it was played on records by Elton John, Tina Turner and Bryan Adams. The 225 carries four extra bass keys below a standard grand, and those strings ring in sympathy even when nobody plays them. You hear it as weight under every chord.
